Samuel Mohart is a Film, Game, and TV Composer, Vocalist, and Tech Specialist based in Los Angeles, CA.

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Samuel has deep musical experience spanning film scores, video games, television, and live performance. Beyond composing, he has performed in rock bands, musical theater, and opera, bringing a wide stylistic range to his creative voice.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Opera Performance in Kansas City, Samuel shifted his focus to composition, pursuing film scoring at one of the most prestigious programs in the industry. He was accepted into the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music Screen Scoring MM program, where he was awarded the John Nordstrom Family Scholarship.

Samuel has also contributed to the music teams of renowned composers, including Brian Tyler (Abigail, Transformers One, Nuremberg, Now You See Me, Now You Don’t), Christophe Beck (Shazam 2, Arnold, Nimona, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania), Benjamin Wallfisch, and David Schwartz (Lucy and Desi)—formative experiences that have shaped his craft as a composer.

Sam is also president and creator of a scoring operating business called Scoring Systems, based in Los Angeles providing tech support and bespoke solutions for composers in the area.
